The Police reunited last year for a world tour and here's a fantastic video of the band playing in an intimate setting without a set list. They're performing Voices Inside - When the World Is Running Down. They sound great. Enjoy!
Love, Love, Love is Lenny Kravitz latest single from his It Is Time for a Love Revolution CD, which he released last year. While this is a pretty good song, it didn't chart on any major music charts. It's been a long time since Kravitz had a top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The last time was 2000's Again, which peaked at #4 on the Hot 100 charts and #23 on the Modern Rock charts. Enjoy!
This is one very carefully choreographed video. It's the BPA's song Toe Jam, which is a collaboration between Talking Heads' alum David Byrne and Fatboy Slim. The video features nude dancers with black bars over their private parts. It's very well done. It's not necessarily a rock song, but I couldn't resist adding this video to the site. It's too well done to pass up. Enjoy!
Believe is Staind's first single from their 2008 The Illusion of Progress CD. It's cracked the top ten on both the Billboard Mainstream and Modern Rock charts sitting at #9 on both charts right now. This song reminds me of their other three hit singles, It's Been A While, Right Here and So Far Away. Enjoy!
Devour is a song by the hard rock band Shinedown. It's currently sitting at #2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts right behind Disturbed's Inside the Fire, which has been on top the charts for quite a while now. All eight of Shinedown's singles have reached the top five on the Mainstream Rock charts. Enjoy!
Hammerhead is the first single from The Offspring's latest album, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, which is their first studio album in five years. The song was poised to take the top spot on the Billboard Modern Rock charts earlier this summer, but it was held out of the top spot by Weezer's Pork and Beans and peaked at #2. So far, it's highest position on the Mainstream Rock charts is #8. Enjoy!
Iris is one of the Goo Goo Dolls biggest hits. Back in 1998, it was a top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and a #1 hit on the Billboard Modern Rock charts. Here's live footage of The Goo Goo Dolls performing the song with Avril Lavigne. Enjoy!
Jakob Dylan, son of Bob Dylan and lead singer of The Wallflowers, is back with a new solo album called Seeing Things. One of the tracks from the album is called Something Good This Way Comes, and here he is performing the song live on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Enjoy!
I Shall Overcome is the latest single by Indie rockers Hard-Fi. It's currently sitting at #35 on the U.K. Singles charts. It hasn't charted yet on any U.S. Billboard charts. Here they are performing the song live during an AOL Sessions event. Enjoy!
Rise Above This is Seether's latest single from their Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces CD. It's also their second #1 Billboard Modern Rock song in a row following up 2007's Fake It, which was also a #1 hit on the Mainstream Rock charts as well. Rise Above This has peaked at #2 on the Mainstream Rock charts so far. Enjoy!
Gavin Rossdale's latest solo single Love Remains The Same is slowly climbing the charts here in the states. Currently, it's sitting at #76 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and #33 on the Modern Rock charts. I like this song and hope it charts higher, but I don't think he's getting the same kind of support from his record label as he did back when he was fronting Bush. So, it probably isn't going to chart that high. I could be wrong though. We shall see. A few months ago, I featured a video of Gavin singing this song on the Ellen show. Enjoy!
My American Heart's first single from their 2007 Hiding Inside the Horrible Weather album is called The Shake (Awful Feeling). So far, it hasn't charted on any U.S. charts. They're actually a pretty good band, but without some heavy promotion, I'm afraid this album and song aren't going to go very far. Enjoy!
Enemies is the latest single from Ryan Cabrera. It's from his third studio album The Moon Under Water. The first single from this album was Say, which failed to chart on any U.S. charts. Cabrera is hoping Enemies will have better success. Enjoy!
Ludo are a pop-punk band from St. Louis, MO. Love Me Dead is the first single from their latest album, You're Awful, I Love You, which is their third album overall, but first major label release. Love Me Dead is currently sitting at #16 on the Billboard Modern Rock charts. Enjoy!
Help Me is the first single from Alkaline Trio's upcoming album, Agony and Irony. It's currently sitting at #25 on the Billboard Modern Rock charts. The song is rumored to be about deceased Joy Division frontman, Ian Curtis.
