Wow, the wait is finally over! Guns N' Roses finally released Chinese Democracy on Sunday. It's their first album of original material since 1993's The Spaghetti Incident?. R.E.M. - Man-Sized Wreath

Man-Sized Wreath is the third single from R.E.M.'s latest album, Accelerate. I like their new album and all three singles so far, but their performance on the charts is almost non-existent. This song hasn't charted on any U.S. chart so far, and their last single, Hollow Man didn't as well. Only the first single, Supernatural Superserious charted, peaking at #85 (Hot 100), #36 (Mainstream Rock) and #21 (Modern Rock). I'm afraid they've gotten a little too old for mainstream radio's audience. It's a shame though, because Accelerate is one of R.E.M.'s best albums in quite some time. Enjoy!

John Mellencamp - My Sweet Love

John Mellencamp released Life, Death, Love and Freedom earlier this year. The first single from the album is called My Sweet Love. The album is more folk rock than Mellencamp's traditional hard rock. It's received very good reviews among critics, but I don't know if he'll ever return to his glory days when songs like Jack And Diane were dominating the radio. Enjoy!

Stone Temple Pilots Reunite And Perform On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Well, look who's back in town. Scott Weiland and his old bandmates are back together and beginning a new tour. Stone Temple Pilots announced they'll be touring again through the spring and summer and there's talk of a new album in the fall. This is after Weiland abruptly left Velvet Revolver last month without much warning to the band.

I like/liked Velvet Revolver, but I really liked Stone Temple Pilots. It's probably time for Axl and Slash and Duff to bury the hatchet and reunite and bring back the original Guns N' Roses lineup. What'd you think?

Guns N' Roses - There Was A Time - New Track From Chinese Democracy CD

Your guess is as good as mine as to when GN'R's new CD Chinese Democracy will actually be released, but many tracks have been leaked already, and many have been played by the band live in the past couple of years. This one is called There Was A Time, and it definitely has a different feel to it than the 80's stuff we're used to from the band, but I like this song. It grows on you the more you listen to it. Enjoy!
