AD/DC - Let There Be Rock (Live)

For those of you who weren't alive in the 70's, then you probably never had the privilege of watching AC/DC perform with their original lead singer Bon Scott. This song, Let There Be Rock, is one of AC/DC's all-time greatest songs. This live version includes an incredible, extended guitar solo from Angus Young. This one is well worth the watch. It's an excerpt from AC/DC's DVD Plug Me In. Enjoy!

Today's video is a live performance by Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones. They're performing Dylan's song, Like a Rolling Stone. This song is #1 on Rolling Stone magazine's top 500 songs of all-time. Amazingly, the song wasn't even a #1 hit. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on the UK charts in 1965. Enjoy!

Scorpions - Humanity

Humanity is a new single from German heavy metal legends the Scorpions. It's from their new album Humanity - Hour 1. It's a good song and has received a lot of airplay on hard rock stations, but it hasn't received much airplay on any mainstream stations due to the band being considered a classic rock band. Enjoy.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - A.C.D.C. and I Love Rock N' Roll

Joan Jett just keeps on rockin'. She'll be 49 years old on Saturday. In June of last year, she released her first album with new material since 1994. One of the singles from that album is called A.C.D.C., and the video features the beautiful Ms. Carmen Electra. Jett is most famous for her hit single "I Love Rock N' Roll", which was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts from March 20 to May 8, 1982. Enjoy both videos!

It peaked at #7 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts and is a staple at most of their concerts. Dude (Looks Like a Lady) was the first single released by Aerosmith from their 1987 comeback album called Permanent Vacation. Enjoy!

Tesla - Led Zeppelin's Thank You and Little Suzi

Tesla released their version of Led Zeppelin's major hit, Thank You as a single earlier this year. It's a really good version of the song. Unfortunately, I wish a lot of the 80's hair bands would release some new stuff rather than always doing covers of older songs. (See Poison's latest single What I Like About You).

Thank You
is definitely a far cry from Tesla's heyday when they were pumping out songs like my favorite from the band called Little Suzi, but it's nice to see Tesla back at it again. They really are one of the best bands to come out of the 80's. Enjoy!

Thank You

Rush - Far Cry and Tom Sawyer

Canadian Rock Legends Rush released their first studio album in five years called Snakes & Arrows earlier this year. It's their 18th full-length album. Far Cry was the first single released from the album. It peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock charts.

Perhaps their biggest hit and one of the best classic rock songs of all-time is 1981's Tom Sawyer, which went to #1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream charts. Enjoy both videos!

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven - Flashback Video of the Week

Every Tuesday, I am going to feature a "Flashback Video" from a band that helped shape the face of rock n' roll today. There's no better band to start with than perhaps the greatest rock n' roll band of all-time, Led Zeppelin, performing their classic hit Stairway to Heaven. Enjoy!
